This is one of my original seascape paintings in an abstract modern style. My technique is a textured acrylic using a palette knife to create the work on a box canvas. The painting is ready to hang and does not require a frame.

Colours

I paint the sides of the canvas white.

DEEP EDGE BOX CANVAS

I only use good quality Windsor and Newton Galeria acrylic paint, which has a thick texture and deep colour fastness and all my canvases are Loxley Gold or Loxley Ashgate, which are finished with staple free edges.
